With its prime location on the Brunei River with commanding views of the stilted houses of Kampong Ayer, this new museum was to become a must-see cultural highlight and a benchmark of quality for the strategic development of educational venues in Brunei. It aimed to instill a sense of wonder and pride in the young generation of Bruneians to prepare them for the challenges of the country’s future development.
