There are some projects that open your eyes to a whole new world. This was one of those projects as we were tasked with interviewing, researching and selecting the most exciting projects being developed by scientists at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST) in the tiny world of nanotechnology.
Nanoscience and technology is one of the fastest growing multidisciplinary areas of scientific and engineering research. This ranges from nanostructured-materials to nanoelectronics, covering such diverse areas as medicine and healthcare, aeronautics and space, environmental studies and energy, biotechnology and agriculture, national security, and education.
