Great to see the Peak Tram re-opens with a Grand Opening Ceremony of the sixth generation on 2 December 2022 after its HK$799 million upgrade project. The Hon. Sir Michael Kadoorie, Chairman of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels and Mr Kevin Yeung, Hong Kong SAR Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism officiated at the event.

Peak Tram will re-open in August
The sixth generation of the Peak Tram will re-open at the end of August after a HK$799 million refurbishment, reports Time Out Hong Kong. As well as the technical upgrade of new tramcars, haulage and control systems, there will be a new queuing experience for passengers consisting of five engaging zones: Eye of Infinity, The Beating Heart, An Icon is Born, Once Upon a Tram, and Go Wild at The Peak.
Threads of Life featured in SCMP
The ‘Threads of Life’ digital art piece developed by Winkle-picker in association with Sugar Design (HK) Ltd and IOIO has been featured in the South China Morning Post (SCMP).
An NFT exhibition entitled METAVISION, considered the most diverse of its kind in Hong Kong to date, is being held at K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui, where visitors will have the chance to see a selection of NFT artworks from around the world. HSBC is taking part in the exhibition and the bank has transformed the Gold Ball at K11 MUSEA into a dedicated exhibition zone. The area is equipped with high-tech panels to showcase the story of the bank’s pioneering involvement in NFT art.
